This shielded HELUKABEL SHIPFLEX® 340 cable is a specialized solution designed for use in demanding conditions, particularly in applications involving chain guides. The cable is distinguished by its high resistance to external factors and ensures reliable operation even in environments exposed to oils, UV radiation, and extreme temperatures. Its construction and materials guarantee long service life and safe use.

Construction and properties

The cable is made of high-quality materials, which translates into its exceptional parameters. Copper conductors, meeting the standards DIN VDE 0295 cl.6, BS 6360 cl.6 and IEC 60228 cl.6, ensure excellent conductivity. Special conductor insulation and a screen of tinned copper wires (with an optional aluminum foil) minimize electromagnetic interference and protect against damage. The polyurethane outer jacket (PUR) provides resistance to abrasion, oils and UV radiation, as well as flexibility over a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C. Additionally, the cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire.
