Power cable for frequency inverters – reliability and protection

This specialized motor connection cable, designed for use with frequency inverters, is designed to provide high electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and reliable operation in demanding industrial conditions. The construction with double shielding minimizes interference, and high-quality materials guarantee durability and resistance to external factors.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction, based on stranded copper conductors, insulated with polypropylene (PE). The conductors are twisted concentrically and then surrounded by two layers of shielding – an aluminum foil and a braid of tinned copper wires (coverage approximately 85%). The whole is protected by a durable outer coating of black PVC (RAL 9005). This solution provides excellent protection against electromagnetic interference and mechanical damage.

It is worth noting the wide operating temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C in stationary mode and from -5°C to +80°C during installation. Additionally, the cable is UV resistant, allowing it to be used in outdoor installations. The minimum bending radius is 5x the cable diameter for stationary installations and 10x the diameter for flexible installations.

The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 65.5 mm.
