Power and control cable for demanding applications

The HELUPOWER® 1000 RV-K cable is a flexible power cable designed for use in medium mechanically stressed installations. It performs perfectly in both dry, humid and wet environments, and also allows for direct laying in the ground or in pipes. Its construction and materials ensure reliable operation in a wide temperature range – from -15°C to +90°C.

This cable is particularly recommended for industrial applications such as machinery, conveyor systems, air conditioning units and automation. It will work as a power or control cable, especially where higher operating temperatures or voltages are required. Thanks to a special PVC outer coating, it is UV resistant and ideal for mobile and portable devices. It can also be used in stage and lighting installations.

Construction and properties

The HELUPOWER® 1000 RV-K cable is characterized by a solid construction based on copper conductors, XLPE insulation and an outer PVC coating of type DMV-18. The conductors are made in accordance with DIN VDE 0295 class 5, IEC 60228 class 5 and BS 6360 class 5 standards, which guarantees high conductivity quality. XLPE insulation provides excellent dielectric properties and temperature resistance. The outer shell made of special PVC protects the cable against mechanical damage, weathering and oils.

User and technical parameters

The HELUPOWER® 1000 RV-K cable with a cross-section of 3x185 mm² is designed to operate at a rated voltage of 0.6/1 kV and a test voltage of 4000 V. Its outer diameter is approximately 49 mm and its weight is approximately 7.57 kg/m. The minimum bending radius for flexible cables is 10x cable diameter, and for stationary cables: up to 25 mm – 4x cable diameter; from 25 to 50 mm – 5x cable diameter; above 50 mm – 6x cable diameter. Conductor identification is carried out in accordance with PN-HD 308 S2 (up to 5 conductors) or EN 50334 (above 5 conductors) standards. The cable is metered for ease of installation and use.
