Construction and application
The F-CY-JZ 34G0,5 cable is designed for use in control circuits in mechanical engineering and as a signal cable in computer and electronics systems. It consists of 34 stranded copper cores, insulated with PVC and marked with numbers for easy identification. A screen made of copper braid provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is crucial in environments with a high level of interference. This braid should be firmly connected to the terminals (e.g., cable glands) for optimal EMC protection. Additionally, the cable has an outer PVC jacket that provides resistance to oils and chemicals.
The cable is characterized by a core cross-section of 0.5 mm², a rated voltage of 500 V and a wide operating temperature range – from -10°C to +80°C during installation and from -40°C to +80°C after installation (without vibration). Its outer diameter is approximately 15.6 mm, and the cores are numbered for easy identification during installation and servicing.
