Flexible shielded cable for industrial and control applications

This 25-core flexible cable JZ-500-C black is a reliable solution for electrical connections requiring high flexibility and resistance to external factors. The cable is designed for medium mechanical load, ensuring safe and durable connections in various working conditions. Thanks to the shielding, it minimizes electromagnetic interference, which is crucial in control and measurement systems.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction, using stranded copper conductors according to DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 standards. The core insulation is made of special PVC (Z 7225), which provides good electrical insulation and chemical resistance. The cores are black with white numbers for easy identification, and from 3 cores upwards, a yellow-green protective core is present. The screen in the form of a braid of copper wires (coverage approx. 85%) effectively reduces electromagnetic interference. The whole is surrounded by a durable outer PVC (TM2) coating, resistant to abrasion and weather conditions. The cable is metered for convenient dispensing and installation.

Operating parameters and installation

The JZ-500-C black cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +80°C (flexible). The rated voltage is 500V, and the core cross-section is 1.5 mm². The minimum bending radius is 10x outer diameter during flexible operation and 5x outer diameter during fixed installation. For optimal protection against electromagnetic interference, it is recommended to ensure a wide, bilateral contact of the copper braid with the terminals (e.g. cable glands). The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 19.8 mm.
