This black, shielded flexible cable JZ-500-C with a cross-section of 10 mm² is a reliable solution for medium mechanically stressed connections where flexibility and protection against interference are required. The cable is particularly recommended for use in mechanical engineering, control systems, signaling and measurement, as well as conveyor belts. Thanks to the copper braid screen, it provides electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) – for optimal performance, ensure good contact of the braid with the terminals.
The cable is characterized by high resistance to external conditions, including oils, chemicals and UV radiation. Made of high-quality materials, it does not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting. It meets safety standards and is compliant with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).
Construction and properties
The JZ-500-C cable has been designed for durability and reliability. It consists of:
- Copper core, stranded (class 5), providing good flexibility and conductivity.
- PVC insulation, resistant to abrasion and mechanical damage. The cores are marked with white numbers for easy identification.
- Copper braid screen, minimizing electromagnetic interference.
- Outer jacket made of PVC, providing additional protection against external factors.
The cable has 4 cores with a cross-section of 10 mm², and its outer diameter is approximately 18.2 mm. It is metered for convenient dispensing of the required length. A version with a protective conductor (G) is also available.
Operating parameters and safety
The JZ-500-C cable retains its properties over a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C (after installation) and from -15°C to +80°C during installation. The rated voltage is 500 V, and the core/core test voltage is 4000 V, and core/screen 2000V. The minimum bending radius is 10x cable diameter during flexible operation and 5x when laid permanently. The cable is resistant to radiation up to 80 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 80 Mrad). It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 and IEC 60332-1-2 in terms of fire resistance.
