Construction and properties

The JZ-500-C cable is characterized by a careful construction that guarantees its durability and functionality. Made from multi-strand copper wire (class 5), insulated with special PVC (Z 7225), it provides good flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage. The wires are black with white numbers for easy identification. Additionally, the presence of a copper braid screen minimizes electromagnetic interference, which is particularly important in industrial environments. The braid provides approximately 85% coverage for effective shielding. The whole is surrounded by a durable outer PVC coating (TM2), resistant to oils, chemicals and UV radiation. The cable is metered for convenient dispensing during installation.

Applications and benefits

This cable is widely used in mechanical industry for control, signaling and measurement in production lines and conveyor belts. It will also work in installations in dry, damp and wet rooms, as well as outdoors - provided direct contact with the ground or water is avoided. Thanks to its properties, this cable is compatible with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). It is worth remembering the manufacturer's recommendation - for optimal EMC protection, it is recommended to ensure two-sided contact of the copper braid with the clamps (e.g. cable glands). The cable is tested for self-extinguishing and flame retardancy according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 and DIN EN 60332-1-2/IEC 60332-1.
