Flexible shielded cable JZ-500-C is a reliable solution for electrical connections requiring high flexibility and resistance to external factors. This cable, manufactured by HELUKABEL, features a construction ensuring safety and durability in various applications.

Construction and parameters

The JZ-500-C cable has 7 cores with a cross-section of 2.5 mm², made of stranded copper, which ensures good flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. The cores are insulated with PVC, and their black color with white numbers makes identification easier during installation. Additionally, the presence of a yellow-green protective core (from 3 cores and above) increases safety. The whole is surrounded by a screen of copper wires, which minimizes electromagnetic interference. The outer jacket made of PVC TM2 provides resistance to abrasion, oils and UV radiation. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 12.8 mm.

Application and properties

This cable is intended for medium mechanically loaded flexible connections where tensile stresses do not occur. It will work both in internal installations (dry, damp and wet rooms) and outdoors (excluding direct laying in the ground or water). It is ideal for use in mechanical engineering – control, signaling and measurement on production lines and conveyor belts. Thanks to the shielding, it ensures electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and the optimal contact of the braid with the terminals further improves its properties in this regard. The cable meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).
