Highly flexible shielded cable – reliability and signal protection

This 25-core JZ-600-Y-CY cable with a cross-section of 0.5 mm² is an excellent solution for installations requiring flexibility and resistance to interference. The cable is designed to operate in harsh conditions, both indoors and outdoors, providing safe and stable connections. The braided shield minimizes the impact of electromagnetic interference, which is crucial in control, measurement and signaling systems.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction using high-quality materials. Copper strands are twisted in accordance with DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 standards, which guarantees their mechanical and electrical strength. PVC TI2 insulation provides reliable protection against short circuits and damage. Additionally, the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor (from 3 cores), increasing safety. The cores are numbered with white digits on a black background of the insulation, which facilitates identification during installation and servicing.

It is worth noting the cable's resistance to UV radiation and the action of oils and chemicals – features particularly important in industrial applications. The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting. The cable meets the requirements of the CE standard and the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.

Applications and operating parameters

JZ-600-Y-CY cable is widely used in mechanical engineering, metallurgy, foundry and air conditioning installations. It will be perfect in places exposed to medium mechanical loads, where flexible connections without tensile stress are required. It can be used in dry, damp and wet rooms, as well as outdoors (after permanent installation). However, it should not be laid directly in the ground or water.

The rated voltage of the cable is 1000 V. The cable maintains flexibility in the temperature range from -15°C to +80°C, and with permanent installation it can operate at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C. The minimum bending radius during operation is 10 times the outer diameter of the cable, and with permanent installation – 5 times this value. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 19.3 mm, and the outer coating is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Effective shielding is ensured by a copper braid.
