This flexible shielded cable JZ-600-Y-CY with a cross-section of 3G25 mm² is a reliable solution for power transmission in demanding conditions. The cable is designed for medium mechanical load, providing flexibility and durability in places where movement or bending occurs. Its construction guarantees safe and efficient operation in a wide range of temperatures and environments.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction, using high-quality materials. Multi-wire copper conductors (class 5) provide good flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. PVC TI2 insulation and PVC TM2 outer jacket guarantee protection against external factors, including UV radiation, oils and chemicals. The shielding braid made of tinned copper wires (85% coverage) minimizes electromagnetic interference, which is particularly important in industrial environments. The cable cores are numbered for easy identification, and the protective conductor is located close to the outer jacket for increased safety.

This cable meets the standards DIN VDE 0262/DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/DIN EN 50525-2-51 and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the low-voltage directive 2014/35/EU. In addition, the materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting. The cable is UV resistant and passes PVC self-extinguishing and flame-retardant tests (VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2 / IEC 60332-1).

Applications and operating parameters

The JZ-600-Y-CY 3G25 cable finds application in many industries, such as: mechanical engineering, metallurgy, steelworks, and air conditioning installations. It is ideal for places requiring flexible electrical connections without tensile stress. It can be used in dry, damp and wet rooms, as well as outdoors (permanently laid), but should not be laid directly in the ground or water.

The rated voltage of the cable is 1000 V, and the operating temperature range is -40°C to +80°C for stationary operation and -15°C to +80°C for flexible operation. The core cross-section is 25 mm², and the outer diameter is approximately 28.2 mm. The minimum bending radius is 10 x cable diameter during flexible operation and 5 x cable diameter with fixed installation. Insulation resistance is minimum 20 MOhm x km, and coupling resistance maximum 250 Ohm x km.
