Flexible shielded cable for industrial applications and installations

This shielded flexible cable JZ-600-Y-CY is a reliable solution for power transmission in demanding conditions. Designed for medium mechanical loads, it is ideal for flexible connections where resistance to bending and twisting is essential. The cable's shielded construction minimizes electromagnetic interference, which is crucial in industrial environments and control systems.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction designed for long-term and safe operation. Made of high-quality materials, such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC) both in the insulation of the cores and in the outer sheath, it provides resistance to abrasion, oils and many chemicals. Twisted copper cores with a cross-section of 50 mm² guarantee efficient current conduction. In addition, the cable has a shielding braid of tinned copper wires with 85% coverage, which effectively protects against interference. The cores are numbered for easy identification during installation, and the protective conductor is located close to the outer jacket for increased safety. The outer jacket made of special black PVC (RAL 9005) is resistant to UV radiation, allowing the cable to be used both indoors and outdoors.

Applications and compliance with standards

The JZ-600-Y-CY cable finds wide application in mechanical engineering, metallurgy, foundries and steelworks. It will be perfect in internal installations, air conditioning and control and measurement systems at production lines. It can also be used for flexible connections in damp and wet rooms. The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0262/DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/DIN EN 50525-2-51 and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the low-voltage directive 2014/35/EU. Thanks to its UV resistance, it is particularly recommended for outdoor applications (permanently laid). The operating temperature range is from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +80°C (flexible).
