This flexible shielded cable JZ-600-Y-CY 7G10 with a cross-section of 10 mm² is designed for medium mechanical loads, especially in applications requiring flexibility and resistance to external factors. The construction with a braided shield minimizes electromagnetic interference, which is crucial in control, measurement and signaling systems. This cable is used in mechanical engineering, metallurgy, foundry and in internal and air conditioning installations.
Construction and properties ensuring durability
The cable is characterized by a solid construction using high-quality materials. Twisted copper conductors, insulated with special PVC TI2, provide flexibility and reliable connections. The conductors marked with numbers facilitate identification during installation, and the yellow-green protective conductor (available in the version with a protective conductor) increases safety. The braid shield made of tinned copper wires with 85% coverage effectively suppresses interference. The outer jacket made of special PVC TM2 is resistant to UV radiation and oils and chemicals, guaranteeing long-term operation even in difficult conditions.
Technical parameters and scope of application
The cable has a rated voltage of 1000 V and complies with DIN VDE 0262/DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/DIN EN 50525-2-51 standards. The permissible operating temperature range is from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +80°C (flexible). The outer diameter of the cable is 25.6 mm. Thanks to its resistance to UV radiation and self-extinguishing properties (tested according to VDE 0482-332-1-2 DIN EN 60332-1-2/ IEC 60332-1), this cable can be used both indoors and outdoors (permanently laid). However, it should not be laid directly in the ground or in water. It is important to optimize electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) by ensuring bilateral contact of the copper braid with cable gland clamps.
