Applications and key features
The OZ-500-C cable is widely used in mechanical engineering, control systems, signaling and measurement. It will perform perfectly under medium mechanical load, in places requiring flexible connections without tensile stress. It can be used both in dry, humid rooms and outdoors – however, it should not be laid directly in the ground or water.
The cable is characterized by a rated voltage of 500V and a core cross-section of 1 mm². It has seven cores insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 9.5 mm, and the operating temperature range is from -40°C to +80°C after installation and from -15°C to +80°C during installation. The cable is UV resistant, and the shielding is provided by a copper braid, guaranteeing electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
The cable meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking) and has passed self-extinguishing and flame-retardant PVC tests in accordance with DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 and DIN EN 60332-1-2/IEC 60332-1 standards. The minimum bending radius is 10x cable diameter during flexible operation and 5x diameter for fixed installation.
