Crane control cable – reliability in every movement

This specialized control cable, known as LIFT-TRAGO 28G1+2x0.5, is designed to operate in the demanding conditions typical of lifting equipment. It provides safe and reliable connections in cranes, hoists, derricks and other manually operated devices. The construction with a hemp core provides strength and resistance to mechanical damage.

Construction and properties – the key to long-term operation

The LIFT-TRAGO cable is distinguished by its careful construction. Twisted copper strands are used, meeting the standards of DIN VDE 0295 cl. 6, BS 6360 cl. 6 and IEC 60228 cl. 6. The insulation is made of special PVC TI2, compliant with DIN VDE 0207-363-3 / DIN EN 50363-3, which guarantees high resistance to abrasion and weathering. The central hemp core (in the TRAGO version) provides stability and minimizes the risk of damage during dynamic operation. In addition, a multi-strand braid serves as a reinforcing function, and the outer PVC TM2 coating protects the cable from external conditions.

The cable is characterized by a wide range of operating temperatures – from -40°C to +70°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +70°C (flexible). The operating voltage is 300/500V, and the test voltage is 3000V. The minimum bending radius is 20 x cable diameter, which facilitates installation even in tight spaces. The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting. The cable has passed tests for self-extinguishing and flame-retardant PVC in accordance with DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-1.
