Shielded control cable – reliable data transmission

This flexible RE-2Y(ST)YV cable is an ideal solution for data transmission in control and automation systems. Construction and parameters

The cable consists of 40 stranded copper conductors with a cross-section of 0.5 mm². The conductors are twisted in pairs, which minimizes the risk of interference. Each pair is surrounded by shielding foil, and the whole is protected by an outer PVC coating in blue color. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 19.2 mm.

It is worth noting the wide range of operating temperatures – from -40°C to +70°C (after installation) and from -5°C to +50°C during installation. The operating voltage of the cable is 300V, making it suitable for control and signaling applications.

The cable is characterized by stranded copper conductors, made in class 2. The cross-section of each conductor is 0.5 mm². Aluminum foil shielding is used to protect against interference. The outer coating is made of PVC in blue color (RAL 5015). The cable retains its properties in the temperature range from -40°C to +70°C after installation and from -5°C to +50°C during installation. The operating voltage is 300V, and the minimum bending radius is 7.5 times the cable diameter.
