Construction and properties

The cable features a construction based on multi-wire copper conductors class 5, providing flexibility and ease of installation. The conductors are insulated with high-quality PVC, and their color – black with numbering according to DIN VDE 0293-334 – facilitates identification. Additionally, the cable has a copper braid screen that minimizes the impact of electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is crucial in sensitive applications. The whole is surrounded by a durable outer PVC jacket in gray (RAL 7001). The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 9.2 mm.

Application and operating parameters

The F-CY-JZ cable is perfect for use in mechanical engineering, automation, and building installations. It is designed to operate at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C (when installed) and from -10°C to +80°C during installation. The rated voltage is 500 V, and the test voltage between conductors is 4000 V. The cable meets the EN 13501-6 class Eca standard in terms of reaction to fire. The nominal conductor cross-section is 2.5 mm², allowing for safe transmission of appropriate current.
