This 12-core HELUFLON-FEP-6Y cable is an advanced solution for installations requiring reliability in harsh conditions. ### Construction and properties

The HELUFLON-FEP-6Y cable is designed for demanding applications. Its construction is based on twisted copper cores, insulated with FEP-HELUFLON® fluoropolymer. The cores are twisted in parallel and surrounded by an outer jacket of the same material, which guarantees excellent protection against mechanical damage and environmental influences. The black color (RAL 9005) facilitates identification.

* **Wide temperature range:** The cable retains its properties in the range of -100°C to +205°C (short-term up to +230°C), allowing it to be used in extreme thermal conditions.

* **Chemical resistance:** The FEP-HELUFLON® material provides resistance to oils, gasoline, acids, bases and other aggressive chemicals.

* **High insulation:** The fluoropolymer insulation guarantees high insulation resistance (min. 2 GOhm/km) and minimizes dielectric losses.

* **Radiation resistance:** The cable is resistant to ionizing radiation up to 1 x 106 cJ/kg (up to 1 Mrad).

* **Safety:** The material does not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting. It is non-flammable and self-extinguishing (tested according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2, IEC 60332-1).

* **Waterproof:** Completely waterproof - water absorption below 0.01%.

The HELUFLON-FEP-6Y cable is used in installations and construction of switchgear cabinets in extreme temperature conditions, such as furnaces, brickworks or heating devices. It will also be useful in the chemical industry, where resistance to aggressive substances is required. Additionally, it is ideal for kitchen and measuring devices.
