This 25-core HELUFLON-FEP-6Y cable is a reliable solution for installations requiring high resistance to temperature, chemicals and harsh environmental conditions. Construction and properties

The cable is designed for use in demanding industrial environments. Its construction is based on twisted copper cores, insulated with high-quality FEP (fluoropolymer) material. The outer jacket made of FEP-HELUFLON® provides additional protection against mechanical damage and external factors. This allows the cable to maintain its properties over a wide temperature range, from -100°C to +205°C (short-term up to +230°C). The copper cores can be un-tinned, tinned or silver-plated, which affects the permissible operating temperature – +130°C, +180°C and +200°C respectively.

The cable is distinguished by a number of important features:

• High chemical resistance: ideal for use in the chemical industry, where it is exposed to aggressive substances.
• Radiation resistance: designed for operation in conditions of exposure to radiation up to 1 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 1 Mrad).
• Non-flammability: meets the requirements of IEC 60332-1-2 and DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 standards, ensuring safe use.
• Waterproof: minimal water permeability (approx. 0.18 mg/cm² over 24 hours) guarantees reliable operation even in humid environments.
• No harmful substances: materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting.
• High insulation: ensures minimal dielectric losses and high safety of use.

Applications and compliance with standards

The HELUFLON-FEP-6Y cable is widely used in installations and construction of switchboard cabinets operating in extreme temperature conditions. It will be perfect in furnaces, brickworks, heating and kitchen appliances, and measuring devices. It is also ideal for use in the chemical industry, where resistance to flames, alkalis, acids, food, oils and gasoline is required. The cable meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). The outer diameter of the cable is 11.2 mm and the core cross-section is 1 mm².
