This black, two-core HELUFLON-FEP-6Y cable with a cross-section of 0.25 mm² is a reliable solution for installations requiring high thermal and chemical resistance. Construction and properties

The HELUFLON-FEP-6Y cable stands out with its advanced construction, providing exceptional performance parameters. Copper conductors, available in tinned or silver-plated versions, are twisted according to DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 (class 5) standards, which guarantees their flexibility and mechanical strength. Insulation made of FEP-HELUFLON® provides excellent dielectric properties and resistance to high temperatures. The outer jacket made of the same material further protects the cable from external factors.

• Wide temperature range: The cable retains its properties in the range of -100°C to +205°C (short-term up to +230°C), making it ideal for use in furnaces, heating devices or the chemical industry.
• Chemical resistance: The FEP-HELUFLON® material is resistant to most acids, bases, oils and organic solvents.
• High insulation: Insulation resistance at a minimum of 2 GOhm/km ensures safe use and minimizes the risk of short circuits.
• Low water permeability: Thanks to the minimal water permeability (approx. 0.18 mg/cm² over 24 hours), the cable works perfectly in humid environments.
• Non-flammability: The self-extinguishing and flame-retardant material meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-1.
