This black, two-core HELUFLON-FEP-6Y cable with a cross-section of 1.5 mm² is a solution for installations requiring reliability in harsh conditions. The cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range, from -100°C to +205°C (short-term up to +230°C), making it an ideal choice for industrial applications, furnaces, heating devices and many others. Its construction with FEP (fluoropolymer) insulation provides exceptional chemical and mechanical resistance.

Construction and properties for professionals

The cable is characterized by copper cores, which can be tinned or silver-plated, twisted according to DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 standards. The FEP-HELUFLON® insulation guarantees high resistance to external factors. The cores are twisted in parallel and surrounded by an outer jacket of FEP-HELUFLON® in black (RAL 9005). Additionally, the cable is resistant to radiation, microorganisms and fungal growth. The materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free and do not contain substances that interfere with painting.

The HELUFLON-FEP-6Y cable is primarily used in installations and construction of switchgear cabinets in extreme thermal conditions – furnaces, brick factories or heating devices. It will also be useful in the food industry due to its resistance to oils and gasoline. The cable meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 4.9 mm and the rated voltage is 600V.
