This specialized HELUFLON-FEP-6Y cable is designed for applications requiring high resistance to temperature, chemicals and harsh environmental conditions. The cable is characterized by its flexibility and reliability, making it an ideal solution for both professional installers and end users. Made from high-quality materials, it ensures safe and long-lasting operation in demanding applications.

Construction and properties

The cable has three copper conductors with a cross-section of 0.75 mm², insulated with FEP-HELUFLON® fluoropolymer. The conductors are twisted in accordance with DIN VDE 0295 class 5, BS 6360 class 5 and IEC 60228 class 5 standards, which guarantees their flexibility and mechanical strength. The outer jacket made of FEP-HELUFLON® provides additional protection against external factors and chemical resistance. The jacket color is black (RAL 9005). The cable is available with a yellow-green protective conductor (marked "G").

• Wide temperature range: The cable retains its properties in the range of -100°C to +205°C (short-term up to +230°C), allowing it to be used in extreme thermal conditions.
• Chemical resistance: The FEP-HELUFLON® insulating material provides resistance to flames, alkalis, acids, food, oils and gasoline – ideal for use in the chemical industry.
• High insulation: Provides high insulation resistance (min. 2 GOhm/km) and minimal water permeability (approx. 0.18 mg/cm² over 24 hours).
• Safety: Materials used in production do not contain silicone or cadmium, and the cable is self-extinguishing and flame-retardant (tested according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2, IEC 60332-1).
• Flexibility: Twisted strand construction provides high cable flexibility, making installation easier in tight spaces.

This cable meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). Its outer diameter is approximately 3.9 mm and the rated voltage is 600V with a test voltage of 2500V. The minimum bending radius is 15 x cable diameter for flexible bending and 4 x cable diameter for stationary bending.
