This 5-core HELUFLON-FEP-6Y cable with a cross-section of 0.5 mm² is a reliable solution for applications requiring high resistance to temperature, chemicals and harsh environmental conditions. The cable is characterized by flexibility and durability, making it an ideal choice for both professional installers and end users.

Construction and properties

The cable is designed for demanding industrial applications. Its construction is based on twisted copper cores, insulated with high-quality FEP (fluoropolymer) material. The outer jacket made of FEP-HELUFLON® provides additional protection against mechanical damage and external influences. The cores are identified by colors according to DIN VDE 0293-308, and the protective conductor is yellow-green. The cable is available in a version with a protective conductor (G) or without it (x).

• Wide temperature range: The cable retains its properties in the range of -100°C to +205°C (short-term up to +230°C), allowing it to be used in extreme thermal conditions.
• Chemical resistance: The FEP material provides excellent resistance to oils, gasoline, acids, bases and other aggressive chemicals.
• High insulation: The FEP insulating material guarantees high insulation resistance (min. 2 GOhm/km) and minimizes dielectric losses.
• Safety: The cable is flame retardant and meets the requirements of IEC 60332-1-2 regarding fire resistance.
• Flexibility: The construction with multi-strand cores of class 5 ensures flexibility and facilitates installation in tight spaces.
• Radiation resistance: The cable is resistant to radiation up to 1 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 1 Mrad).
