This 5-core HELUFLON-FEP-6Y cable with a cross-section of 0.75 mm² is a solution for installations requiring reliability in harsh conditions. Made of high-quality materials, it ensures safety and long-term operation. The cable is characterized by exceptional resistance to temperature, chemicals and radiation.

Construction and properties

The HELUFLON-FEP-6Y cable stands out with its advanced construction, which guarantees its unique properties. Copper cores, available in tinned or silver-plated version, are twisted according to DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 class 5 standards, which ensures their flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. Insulation made of FEP-HELUFLON® fluoropolymer provides excellent dielectric properties and chemical resistance. The outer jacket made of the same material further protects the cable against mechanical damage and external factors.

• Wide temperature range: The cable retains its properties in the range of -100°C to +205°C (short-term up to +230°C), making it ideal for use in furnaces, heating devices or the chemical industry.

• Chemical resistance: Fluoropolymer insulation and jacket provide resistance to alkalis, acids, oils, gasoline and food – crucial in aggressive industrial environments.

• High insulation: Insulation resistance at a level of at least 2 GOhm/km guarantees safe use and minimizes the risk of short circuits.

• Radiation resistance: The cable is resistant to radiation up to 1 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (1 Mrad), allowing its use in installations exposed to ionizing radiation.

• Low water permeability: Minimal water permeability (approx. 0.18 mg/cm² over 24 hours) protects the cable against corrosion and loss of electrical properties in a humid environment.
