Flexible cable for industrial and control applications

This 18-core JZ-600 cable with a 1 mm² cross-section is a versatile solution for demanding industrial environments. Designed for flexibility and durability, it is ideal for control systems, powering machinery and equipment, as well as agricultural and ventilation applications. The cable complies with UL/CSA standards, confirming its high quality and safety.

Construction and properties

The cable features a robust construction consisting of stranded copper cores, PVC insulation, and an outer PVC jacket. The cores are twisted in parallel, providing flexibility and ease of installation. Additionally, the cores are numbered according to DIN VDE 0293, making identification easier even after the cable is shortened. A protective core (marked with the letter "G" in the cable name) is also available.

This cable is distinguished by its high resistance to oils, chemicals, and UV radiation (in the case of a black outer jacket). The materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free, and do not interfere with painting. It meets the requirements of self-extinguishing and flame-retardant tests according to DIN VDE, DIN EN, IEC, UL, and CSA standards. This ensures safety in the event of a short circuit or fire.

Applications and technical parameters

JZ-600 cable is used in machine tools, conveyors, production lines, as well as in agricultural and ventilation installations. It will also be useful in steelworks and rolling mills. It can be used in both dry and humid environments and outdoors (in stationary installation with a black jacket). It is not intended for underwater installations or direct burial in the ground.

This cable is characterized by a rated voltage of 1000 V and a core cross-section of 1 mm². It has 18 cores, PVC insulation, and a PVC outer jacket. Its outer diameter is approximately 17.3 mm. The operating temperature range for flexible use is -5°C to +80°C, and for stationary operation -40°C to +80°C. The minimum bending radius for flexible use is 7.5 times the cable diameter, and for stationary use 4 times the cable diameter.

This cable is metered, making it easy to precisely match the required length during installation. Remember to choose the appropriate jacket color (black or gray) depending on the operating conditions – a black jacket provides additional resistance to UV radiation.
