Flexible control and measuring cable
This grey flexible JZ-600 25G1 AWG25 cable is designed for indoor and outdoor applications where flexibility and resistance to external factors are required. This cable is used in machine tools, conveyors, production lines, agriculture, ventilation, and industrial environments such as steelworks and rolling mills. It is a versatile cable that will work well in both fixed and dynamic installations.
Construction and properties
The JZ-600 cable is characterized by a construction that ensures high reliability and durability. It has 25 copper strands twisted into a rope for increased flexibility (class 5). The strands are insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) TI2, and the entire cable is surrounded by an outer sheath of PVC TM2. The strands are numbered according to DIN VDE 0293 standard - black with white numbering, which facilitates identification even after the cable is shortened. Additionally, the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor (from 3 strands), placed in the outer layer to ensure safety. The outer diameter of the cable is 21.1 mm and the cross-section of a single strand is 1 mm².
This cable is resistant to oils, chemicals and UV radiation (in the case of a black outer jacket). The materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0276 part 627, DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 and UL Std.758 Style 21179. It is also compliant with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).
Operating parameters and safety
The JZ-600 cable can be operated in a wide temperature range: from -40°C to +80°C in stationary mode and from -5°C to +80°C during installation. The rated voltage is 1000 V (VDE U0/U 600/1000 V and UL/CSA 1000 V), and the test voltage is 4000 V. The insulation resistance is minimum 20 MOhm x km. The minimum bending radius is 7.5x cable diameter for flexible laying and 4x cable diameter for stationary laying. The cable is self-extinguishing and flame-retardant according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2, IEC 60332-1-2 and UL VW-1, CSA FT1 standards.
