Flexible cable for industrial and control applications
This multi-core flexible cable JZ-600 25G2.5 AWG14, with a grey jacket, is designed to operate in demanding conditions, offering reliability and safety in a variety of applications. It meets UL/CSA standards, confirming its high quality and compliance with international standards. This cable is particularly useful in industrial environments where resistance to oils, UV radiation (in the case of a black jacket) and flexibility during frequent bending are required.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a construction ensuring long-term and trouble-free operation. It has 25 copper strands twisted into a rope for increased flexibility (class 5). Each strand is insulated with high-quality polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and the entire cable is surrounded by an outer jacket also made of PVC, providing mechanical and chemical protection. The strands are numbered according to DIN VDE 0293, which facilitates identification and connection. Additionally, the cable has a protective conductor (in versions with the "G" designation). The nominal cross-section of the strand is 2.5 mm², and the outer diameter is approximately 26.9 mm.
This cable stands out with a wide range of operating temperatures – from -40°C to +80°C in stationary mode and from -5°C to +80°C during installation. It is resistant to UV radiation (in the case of a black jacket) and to oils and chemicals. The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting. It also has self-extinguishing and flame-retardant properties in accordance with DIN VDE, EN 60332 and UL/CSA standards.
Applications and benefits
The JZ-600 25G2.5 cable finds wide application as a measuring and control cable in machine tools, conveyors, production lines, agriculture, ventilation systems and in steelworks and rolling mills. It is ideal for use in places requiring frequent bending and movements without tensile stress. It can be used in dry, damp and wet rooms and outdoors (in stationary installation with a black outer jacket). Thanks to compliance with UL/CSA standards, it can be used in applications requiring certification from these organizations. Strand numbering makes identification easy even after the cable is shortened, and the placement of the protective conductor on the outside provides additional safety.
