This black JZ-600 2x2.5 AWG14 cable is a versatile solution for measurement and control leads in demanding industrial environments. The polyvinyl chloride (PVC) construction provides flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage, as well as protection against external factors.

Construction and properties

The cable features a two-core construction with twisted copper conductors, ensuring good flexibility and ease of installation. Core insulation made of PVC TI2 guarantees high electrical and dielectric strength. The outer jacket made of special PVC TM2 further protects the cable against abrasion, moisture and oils. The cores are numbered, which facilitates identification even after the cable has been shortened. Additionally, the cable is UV resistant (in the case of a black jacket), allowing it to be used in outdoor installations.

• Flexibility: Twisted strand construction class 5 provides high flexibility, making it easier to route the cable in tight spaces.
• Chemical resistance: The special PVC composition makes the cable resistant to the action of oils and many chemicals.
• Temperature range: The cable retains its properties over a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C in fixed installation and from -5°C to +80°C during assembly.
• Safety: It has UL/CSA certificates and meets standards regarding self-extinguishing and flame retardancy (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2, IEC 60332-1-2, UL VW-1, CSA FT1).
• Core identification: Core numbering facilitates correct connection even after the cable has been shortened.
