Flexible cable for industrial and control applications
This grey JZ-600 3G0.5 AWG20 cable is a versatile solution for measuring and control leads, designed for demanding working conditions. It meets UL/CSA standards, confirming its high quality and safety. The cable is particularly recommended for use in machines, conveyors, production lines, and in agriculture.
Construction and properties
The cable features a flexible construction with three copper conductors, stranded flexible class 5 wires. The core insulation is made of high-quality polyvinyl chloride (PVC) TI2, providing good electrical insulation and resistance to damage. The cores are identified with numbers for easy identification, and the protective core (in versions with a yellow-green core) is placed in the outer layer of the cable. The outer jacket made of PVC TM2 provides additional mechanical protection and resistance to external factors.
The cable is characterized by high resistance to oils, chemicals, and UV radiation (in the case of a black jacket). The materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free, and do not interfere with painting. In addition, the cable is self-extinguishing and flame retardant, increasing safety. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible laying and 4 x cable diameter for stationary laying.
User parameters and scope of applications
The JZ-600 cable is designed to operate in a temperature range of -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and -5°C to +80°C (flexible). The rated voltage is 1000 V, and the insulation resistance is at least 20 MOhm x km. The core cross-section is 0.5 mm², and the outer diameter is approximately 6.8 mm.
The cable works perfectly in industrial installations where high flexibility and resistance to harsh environmental conditions are required – in machine tools, conveyors, production lines, ventilation systems, or in steelworks. It can be used both in dry and humid environments and outdoors (with a black outer jacket). However, it is not suitable for underwater installations or direct burial in the ground.
