Construction and properties

The cable features a construction based on stranded copper conductors, providing good flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. PVC TI2 insulation and an external PVC TM2 coating guarantee high resistance to mechanical, chemical (including oils) and UV radiation – especially in cables with a black coating. The conductors are numbered for easy identification even after the cable has been shortened, and the protective conductor is located in the outer layer for added safety. This makes the cable suitable for harsh working conditions.

Applications and compliance with standards

The JZ-600 cable is used in machine tools, conveyors, production lines, ventilation systems, and in the agricultural, steel and rolling mill industries. It can be used in both dry and humid environments, as well as outdoors (in stationary installation). It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0276 part 627, DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 and UL Std.758 Style 21179. It is also compliant with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). The cable is designed to operate at a rated voltage of up to 1000V (VDE U0/U 600/1000 V and UL/CSA 1000 V).
