Flexible control and measuring cable
This grey JZ-600 cable with a cross-section of 3G16 (AWG6) is a versatile solution for indoor and outdoor applications where flexibility and resistance to harsh conditions are required. The cable is designed to operate at 1kV voltage, and its construction ensures reliable operation in various industrial and commercial environments. It meets UL/CSA standards, confirming its quality and safety.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a multi-strand, flexible copper conductor construction, which facilitates installation and ensures long-term reliability. The core insulation is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), providing good electrical insulation and abrasion resistance. The cores are numbered for easy identification, and in the 3-core version, there is also a yellow-green protective core. The outer sheath made of PVC protects the cable from mechanical damage and the effects of atmospheric factors. This makes the cable resistant to oils, chemicals, and UV radiation (in the case of a black sheath).
This cable has been tested for dielectric strength (min. 8000 V) and has a high insulation resistance (min. 20 MOhm x km). It is designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C in stationary mode and from -5°C to +80°C during installation. The minimum bending radius of the cable is 7.5x its diameter for flexible laying and 4x for stationary laying.
Applications
JZ-600 cable is used as a measuring and control cable in many industries, including:
- Metalworking (machine tools, conveyors)
- Agriculture
- Ventilation
- Steelworks and rolling mills
- Production lines
- Electrical installations in buildings
- Applications requiring flexibility and resistance to oils and chemicals
It is an ideal choice where a reliable cable is needed to transmit control and measuring signals in harsh industrial conditions. Numbered cores facilitate identification even after the cable has been shortened, which is particularly important during installation and maintenance.
