Construction and properties
The cable features a flexible construction with three copper conductors with a cross-section of 6 mm². These conductors are stranded, which provides them with resistance to mechanical fatigue during frequent bending. PVC TI2 insulation and an external PVC TM2 jacket provide protection against external factors such as moisture, oils, and UV radiation (in the case of the black jacket). The conductors are identified with numbers for easy identification during installation and servicing. Additionally, the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor (from 3 conductors), increasing safety.
The cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C in stationary mode and from -5°C to +80°C during flexible operation. It has high resistance to oils and chemicals, making it an ideal choice for industrial environments. The materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium, or substances that interfere with painting. It meets safety requirements regarding self-ignition and flame retardancy (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2, IEC 60332-1-2, UL VW-1, CSA FT1).
