Construction and properties

The cable features a multi-strand, flexible construction of copper conductors (class 5), providing exceptional resistance to bending and mechanical damage. The core insulation is made of high-quality polyvinyl chloride (PVC) TI2, guaranteeing good electrical insulation and abrasion resistance. The outer jacket made of PVC TM2 further protects the cable from external factors. The cores are numbered, making identification easier even after the cable has been shortened, and the protective core (in versions with a yellow-green core) is located in the outer layer for increased safety.

This cable also boasts high resistance to oils, chemicals, and UV radiation (in the case of a black jacket), allowing it to be used in harsh industrial environments. The materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free, and do not interfere with painting. It meets the requirements of self-ignition and flame-retardant tests (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2, IEC 60332-1-2, UL VW-1, CSA FT1).

Applications and technical parameters

The JZ-600 cable is widely used as a measuring and control cable in various industries – from machine tools and conveyors to agricultural and ventilation installations. It will also be useful in steelworks and rolling mills. Thanks to its flexibility, it is ideal for applications requiring frequent movements without tensile stress. It can be used in dry, damp, and wet rooms, as well as outdoors (in stationary installation with a black jacket).

This cable is characterized by a rated voltage of 1000 V (VDE U0/U 600/1000 V; UL/CSA 1000 V), a core cross-section of 16 mm² and an outer diameter of approximately 21.7 mm. The operating temperature range is from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -5°C to +80°C (flexible). The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible routing and 4 x cable diameter for stationary routing. The cable has 4 cores made of copper, insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and the outer coating is also made of PVC. The cores are identified with numbers.

The cable complies with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). Versions with a yellow-green protective core (G) and without it (x) are available.
