Flexible cable 1kV JZ-600 4G2.5 AWG14 grey compliant with UL/CSA 11914
Flexible control and measuring cable
This grey flexible JZ-600 4G2.5 AWG14 cable, with an outer diameter of approximately 11.1 mm, is designed for use in demanding industrial conditions and beyond. It is a versatile cable suitable for both fixed installations and applications requiring high flexibility. The cable meets UL/CSA standards, confirming its high quality and safety.
Construction and properties
This cable features a solid construction. It has four multi-strand copper conductors (class 5) insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The conductors are twisted in parallel and numbered for easy identification. Additionally, the cable has an outer PVC jacket providing protection against mechanical and chemical factors. This makes it resistant to oils and chemicals – which is particularly important in industrial environments. The cable's operating temperature range is from -40°C to +80°C in stationary conditions and from -5°C to +80°C during installation. Remember the minimum bending radius of 4x the cable diameter for stationary installation and 7.5x the cable diameter for flexible operation.
Applications and benefits
The JZ-600 cable is ideal for use as a measuring and control cable in machine tools, conveyors, production lines, as well as in agriculture and ventilation systems. It will also work in steelworks and rolling mills. Its flexibility allows for free cable routing without tensile stress or forced movements. The possibility of use in dry, damp and wet rooms (and outdoors with a black jacket) increases its range of applications. Furthermore, this cable is UV resistant (in the case of a black jacket), which extends its lifespan in outdoor conditions. Numbering of the conductors facilitates the identification of individual wires even after the cable has been shortened. This is particularly useful when servicing or modifying electrical installations.
