Construction and properties
The cable is constructed of stranded copper conductors, providing good flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. The core insulation is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and the outer jacket is also made of PVC, guaranteeing protection against moisture, oils, and UV radiation (in the case of the black jacket). The cores are numbered according to DIN VDE 0293, which facilitates identification and connection. This allows installers to quickly and efficiently make connections, and end-users to easily locate individual cores in case of service needs.
This cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0276 part 627 and DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51, as well as UL Std.758 Style 21179. It is designed to operate in a temperature range from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -5°C to +80°C (flexible). The rated voltage is 1000 V, ensuring safe use in various applications. The insulation resistance is minimum 20 MOhm x km, which testifies to the high quality of workmanship and reliability of the cable. The minimum bending radius is 7.5x cable diameter for flexible laying and 4x cable diameter for stationary laying – this is important information for installers during installation.
