Flexible cable for industrial and control applications
This grey JZ-600 cable, with a cross-section of 5 x 0.5 mm², is a versatile solution for measuring and control leads in demanding industrial environments. Designed for flexibility and durability, it meets UL/CSA standards, making it an ideal choice for both installers and end-users looking for reliable cabling.
Construction and properties
The cable features a robust construction, utilizing stranded copper conductors twisted according to DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 standards. PVC TI2 insulation provides high electrical and mechanical resistance. The cores are identified with numbers, simplifying installation and servicing. Additionally, the presence of a yellow-green protective conductor (in versions with a protective conductor) increases safety. The outer jacket made of PVC TM2 guarantees resistance to abrasion, oils and UV radiation (in the case of a black jacket).
This cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C in stationary laying and from -5°C to +80°C in flexible laying. It is resistant to many oils and chemicals, making it suitable for use in harsh industrial conditions. The materials used in production are silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substance-free.
Applications and compliance with standards
JZ-600 cable is used in machine tools, conveyors, production lines, agriculture, ventilation systems, and in the steel and rolling industries. It will work wherever flexible cabling with medium mechanical loads is required. It can be used in dry, damp and wet rooms and outdoors (in stationary laying with a black outer jacket).
It meets the requirements of standards: DIN VDE 0276 part 627, DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 and UL Std.758 Style 21179. It also has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU. The cable is self-extinguishing and flame-retardant according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2, IEC 60332-1-2 and UL VW-1 and CSA FT1 standards.
