This grey JZ-600 5G1.5 AWG16 cable is a versatile solution for control and measuring cables, designed for demanding working conditions. It meets UL/CSA standards, confirming its high quality and safety. The cable is characterized by its flexibility, which facilitates installation and routing in tight spaces. It is particularly useful in industrial applications where it is exposed to bending and twisting.

Construction and properties

The cable is constructed of five stranded copper conductors, providing good flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. The core insulation is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and the outer jacket is also made of PVC, guaranteeing protection against moisture, oils and other chemicals. The cores are numbered according to DIN VDE 0293, which facilitates identification during installation and servicing. Additionally, the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor (from 3 cores), increasing safety. The cable is metered for convenient dispensing during installation.

Application and technical parameters

The JZ-600 cable is used in machine tools, conveyors, production lines, agriculture, ventilation, and in steelworks and rolling mills. It will work in both dry and humid environments, as well as outdoors (in stationary installation). Thanks to its UV resistance (in the version with a black outer jacket), it can be used in applications exposed to sunlight.

The cable is characterized by a rated voltage of 1000 V and a conductor cross-section of 1.5 mm². Its outer diameter is approximately 11 mm. The operating temperature range for flexible use is -5°C to +80°C, and for stationary installation -40°C to +80°C. It exhibits radiation resistance up to 80x10⁶ cJ/kg. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible operation and 4 x cable diameter for stationary installation. The insulation and outer jacket are made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC).

This cable complies with DIN VDE 0276 part 627, DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 and UL Std.758 Style 21179, guaranteeing its reliability and safety.
