Construction and properties

The cable is constructed with five copper conductors, twisted to ensure flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. The conductor insulation is made of high-quality polyvinyl chloride (PVC), providing good electrical insulation and resistance to chemicals. The conductors are identified with numbers, making them easier to distinguish during installation and maintenance. The outer PVC jacket protects the cable from mechanical damage, moisture, and UV radiation (in the case of cables with a black jacket). This allows the cable to be used both indoors and outdoors – in a fixed installation.

The cable is characterized by a wide operating temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C (depending on the method of installation), allowing it to be used in harsh environmental conditions. It is also resistant to oils and other chemicals, making it an ideal choice for industrial applications. The insulation resistance of min. 20 MOhm x km ensures effective protection against current leakage. The minimum bending radius is 7.5x the cable diameter for flexible installation and 4x the cable diameter for fixed installation.
