Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction. Made of multi-strand copper cores (class 5), it provides flexibility and resistance to material fatigue during repeated bending. PVC TI2 insulation and an outer jacket made of special PVC TM2 guarantee protection against moisture, oils, chemicals and UV radiation (in the case of a black jacket). The cores are numbered according to DIN VDE 0293, which facilitates identification even after the cable has been shortened. The protective core (yellow-green) is placed in the outer layer for additional safety.

This cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C in stationary installation and from -5°C to +80°C in flexible installation. It has a rated voltage of 1000 V (VDE) / 1000 V (UL/CSA) and meets the requirements for self-extinguishing and flame retardancy (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2, IEC 60332-1-2, UL VW-1, CSA FT1).
