This shielded flexible cable 500V OZ-BL-CY is a solution dedicated to working in demanding conditions, especially in areas at risk of explosion. The cable is designed for control and measurement installations where resistance to interference and safety are crucial. Its construction ensures reliable operation in intrinsically safe systems, and flexibility facilitates installation and routing in tight spaces.

Construction and application

This cable is distinguished by carefully selected materials and construction. It uses a multi-strand, flexible copper conductor class 5, which ensures high mechanical strength and resistance to bending. PVC insulation type Z 7225 guarantees good electrical insulation, and a copper braid screen minimizes the influence of electromagnetic interference (EMC). Twisted strands provide optimal pitch, and the outer PVC coating protects against mechanical damage and weathering.

The cable is primarily used in areas at risk of explosion where intrinsically safe installations are required in accordance with DIN VDE 0165-1 / DIN EN 60079-14 / IEC 60079-14 standards. It is ideal for control and measurement technology where a reliable cable is needed to transmit control and measurement signals. Please note that the cable is not intended for laying in the ground.

Additional information: Materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances preventing paint adhesion during painting. The conductor cross-section is 1.5 mm², and the approximate outer diameter is 19.7 mm. The cable has 30 working cores.
