UNIPUR 12G0,5 cable is a flexible cable designed for applications requiring high flexibility and resistance to external factors. Made with stranded copper conductors insulated with polyurethane (PUR), it provides a reliable connection in various working conditions. It is particularly recommended for mobile and portable devices where traditional cabling could fail.
Construction and Properties
The cable features a construction ensuring high flexibility even at low temperatures – the operating range is from -40°C to +90°C. The copper strands are twisted according to DIN VDE 0295 cl.5, BS 6360 cl.5 and IEC 60228 cl.5 standards, which guarantees their mechanical and electrical strength. The thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) insulation provides good protection against damage and chemical influences. The outer jacket made of PUR TMPU further protects the cable against abrasion, cuts and notches.
This cable is available in red, which makes it easier to identify in multi-core installations. It has 12 cores with a cross-section of 0.5 mm², and its outer diameter is approximately 10.7 mm. An important feature is also resistance to UV radiation, oils, greases, water and atmospheric factors – thanks to this, the cable retains its properties for a long time. The materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting.
