Construction and properties

This cable is characterized by a construction that provides exceptional durability and resistance. Made of 18 copper conductors, twisted according to DIN VDE 0295 class 5, BS 6360 class 5 and IEC 60228 class 5 standards, which guarantees high conductivity and flexibility. The conductors are insulated with thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), and the whole is surrounded by a durable polyurethane (PUR) coating. This combination of materials provides resistance to abrasion, cuts, notches and the action of oils, greases, water and atmospheric factors. Additionally, the cable remains flexible even at extremely low temperatures – down to -40°C.

The UNIPUR 18G0,5 cable has an outer diameter of approximately 13 mm and is available in purple color. The cross-section of a single conductor is 0.5 mm², and the rated voltage is 500V (300/500 kV). This makes it suitable for a wide range of applications in electrical installations. An important feature is also resistance to radiation up to 100x10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 100 Mrad) and the absence of silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substances.
