Flexible control cable UNIPUR 18G0,5 – reliability in harsh conditions

The UNIPUR 18G0,5 cable is a multi-core cable designed for applications requiring high flexibility and resistance to external factors. Made of twisted copper conductors, insulated with thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) and surrounded by a durable polyurethane (PUR) coating, it provides a safe and long-lasting connection in a variety of applications. The cable is designed to operate in a temperature range from -40°C to +90°C, making it an ideal choice for both indoor and outdoor use.

Construction and properties

The cable is distinguished by its exceptional flexibility even at low temperatures, thanks to the use of a class 5 stranded wire. The conductors are color-coded (up to 5 conductors) or with white numbering on a black background (from 6 conductors), which facilitates identification during installation. The outer jacket made of PUR TMPU provides high resistance to abrasion, cuts, notches, and the action of oils, greases, water and atmospheric factors. In addition, the materials used in production are silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substance free. The cable is available in red and has a yellow-green protective conductor.

This durable cable is widely used in power tools (drills, circular saws), gardening equipment, portable motors, agricultural machinery, as well as in building and refrigeration installations. Thanks to its construction and properties, it performs perfectly in conditions requiring high flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage. It meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). Conductor cross-section of 0.5 mm² and 18 working conductors provide sufficient performance for many applications. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 13 mm.
