Flexible control cable UNIPUR – reliability in harsh conditions
The UNIPUR 18G0.75 cable is a flexible solution for applications requiring high mechanical and chemical resistance. This cable, made of high-quality materials, ensures safe and reliable connections in a variety of applications – from power tools to agricultural machinery. Its construction based on twisted copper conductors, thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) insulation, and a PUR outer jacket guarantees long-term operation even in extreme conditions.
Construction and properties
The UNIPUR cable is distinguished by its exceptional flexibility, even at low temperatures (down to -40°C), which facilitates installation and ensures comfortable work. The cable conductors are twisted in parallel, which optimizes their arrangement and minimizes the risk of damage during bending. In addition, the PUR outer jacket provides resistance to abrasion, cuts, notches, and the action of oils, greases, water, and atmospheric factors. The materials used in production are silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substance free.
The cable has 18 conductors with a cross-section of 0.75 mm², allowing for the transmission of control signals in complex installations. The rated voltage U/U0 is 500/300 V, and the outer diameter is approximately 14.1 mm. Conductor identification is done using colors (up to 5 conductors) or black conductors with white numbering (from 6 conductors). A protective conductor (green-yellow color from 3 conductors) is also available.
Applications and compliance with standards
The UNIPUR cable finds wide application in various industries:
- Power tools: drills, circular saws
- Gardening tools
- Portable motors and agricultural machinery
- Construction
- Refrigeration installations
- Industry
The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-21 / DIN EN 50525-2-21 and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU. It is also resistant to radiation up to 100x106 cJ/kg (up to 100 Mrad).
