This grey flexible cable UNIPUR 25G1 with a voltage of 500V is a versatile solution for both professional installers and end users. Construction and properties

The UNIPUR 25G1 cable stands out with its solid construction. It has 25 copper strands, twisted into a rope according to DIN VDE 0295 class 5, BS 6360 class 5 and IEC 60228 class 5 standards. The strand insulation is made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), which guarantees high flexibility even at low temperatures – down to -40°C. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) provides resistance to abrasion, cuts, notches and the action of oils, greases, water and atmospheric factors. Additionally, the cable is resistant to UV radiation and hydrolysis.

The cable is characterized by an approximate outer diameter of 18.3 mm and a strand cross-section of 1 mm². It provides a rated voltage of U0/U of 300/500 kV. Strand identification is done using colors (up to 5 strands) or black strands with white numbering (from 6 strands). A version with a green-yellow protective strand (marked as "G") is also available.
