### Construction and properties

The UNIPUR 34G0,5 cable has been designed with durability and reliability in mind. It consists of 34 stranded copper cores of class 5 (according to DIN VDE 0295), providing good flexibility and conductivity. Each core is insulated with thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), and the whole is surrounded by a durable polyurethane (PUR) coating. This construction guarantees resistance to abrasion, cuts, notches, oils, greases, water and weathering. The cable retains its properties over a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +90°C during operation. Additionally, it is resistant to UV radiation and hydrolysis.

A key feature of the cable is its exceptional flexibility at low temperatures – even down to -40°C – which allows for trouble-free use in extreme conditions. The minimum bending radius is 10x the cable diameter during dynamic operation and 5x the cable diameter during stationary operation. The cable has a rated voltage U0/U of 300/500 V (up to 1 mm²) and 450/750 V (from 1.5 mm²), and the test voltage is 3000 V. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 17.9 mm.
