Construction and properties

The UNIPUR cable stands out with its careful construction, which guarantees its long-lasting and trouble-free operation. Twisted copper conductors with a cross-section of 0.5 mm² provide good electrical conductivity. Insulation made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) ensures resistance to abrasion, cuts, notches, and the action of oils, greases, water and atmospheric factors. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) additionally protects the cable against mechanical damage and UV radiation. The cable is available in blue, which makes it easier to identify the cores.

Additionally, this cable retains its flexibility even at very low temperatures – down to -40°C – which is particularly important in outdoor applications or in cold rooms. Resistance to UV radiation and resistance to hydrolysis and microbes make the cable perfect for harsh environmental conditions. The material used in production does not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting.
