Construction and properties
UNIPUR cable stands out with its advanced construction, which guarantees its unique properties. Made of five copper conductors with a cross-section of 0.5 mm², insulated with thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), it provides flexibility and resistance to damage. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) further protects the cable against external factors such as abrasion, cuts, oils, greases, and UV radiation. Thanks to this, the cable retains its properties even in extreme temperature conditions – from -40°C to +90°C during operation.
The use of special TPE/PUR makes the cable compliant with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-21/ DIN EN 50525-2-21 standards. The minimum bending radius is 10x cable diameter during operation and 5x cable diameter in stationary installation. Additionally, the cable is resistant to radiation up to 100x10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 100 Mrad).
