The UNIPUR 5G1 flexible cable is a high-quality cable designed for applications requiring high flexibility and resistance to external factors. Construction and properties

The UNIPUR 5G1 cable has been designed with demanding applications in mind. Its construction guarantees reliability and long-term operation:

• Conductors: 5 stranded copper conductors, twisted according to DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 standards (class 5 – flexible).
• Insulation: Thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) provides excellent dielectric properties and abrasion resistance.
• Outer jacket: Durable polyurethane (PUR) protects the conductors from mechanical damage, weathering, oils and UV radiation.
• Conductor identification: Color-coded conductors facilitate installation and connection. From 6 conductors, black insulation with white numbering is used.
• Cross-section: 1 mm², allowing for safe power transmission in many applications.
• Outer diameter: Approximately 8.6 mm.

Thanks to its construction, this cable is particularly resistant to:

• abrasion and cuts,
• oils, greases and water,
• weathering, ozone and oxygen,
• UV radiation and hydrolysis,
• microorganisms.

Moreover, the materials used in production are silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substance-free.
