The UNIPUR-CP cable is designed for durability and versatility. It utilizes twisted copper strands, which provide high flexibility, and the thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) insulation guarantees resistance to abrasion, tearing, and the action of oils, greases and other chemicals. The screen made of copper wires minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is particularly important in applications sensitive to interference. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) additionally protects the cable from the effects of atmospheric factors, UV radiation and microbes.
