Construction and properties

The UNIPUR-CP 18G1 cable stands out with its advanced construction, which guarantees long-lasting and trouble-free operation. It consists of 18 stranded copper cores, with a cross-section of 1 mm², insulated with thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). The cores are twisted in parallel, which ensures optimal twist pitch and minimizes the risk of mechanical damage. A screen made of tinned copper wires (approx. 85% coverage) effectively protects against electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is particularly important in applications sensitive to noise. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) provides additional mechanical protection and abrasion resistance.

The cable complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-21 / DIN EN 50525-2-21 standards and has a rated voltage of up to 500 kV (U) and 300 kV (U0). This means it meets stringent safety and quality requirements. In addition, the materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting.
